In my opinion, the E60 is a much better driving and handling vehicle. However, unless you find a super clean one with low mileage and a clean service record, I would either buy another series BMW or some other brand. The F10 will never compare to the E60. My 2014 535i M Sport will probably be my last BMW.

M tech is pre lci. M sport is lci. They simply changed the name. No, M Sport refers to the options package ordered with the car while people use Mtech to refer to the individual parts included in said package. M Sport and M Tech are both used interchangeably to refer to OEM parts unless it says "Mtech Style" for the replica parts.
How Much to Spend. You will find a lot BMW E60 5 Series models retailing under $5,000. However, most of them will either be the entry- or mid-level models or would have clocked up too many miles
I had the E90 for 9 Months. The E90's interior feels much smaller in size, The E60 is much roomier and there is lots more, front seat space, back seat space & trunk space. If you have a family, passengers or like some extra room get the E60.

It is not an "active" suspension unless you pay more for that separately, which cancels out the M-Sport as noted above.
