I'm very disapointed they didn't include online co-op. That said, the execution of the characters during co-op is FANTASTIC. One gun toting combat character and one item hunting utility character make the game really fun, to the point I kind of hope someone takes a lesson from this and makes more games with co-op where the players take Magnums are pocket-sized cannons in Resident Evil Revelations 2. They deal incredible amounts of damage but they are very slow, meaning slow firing rates and long reloading times. Both of these disadvantages can be countered a bit by the Magnum Master skill and by means of certain weapon parts. Or play in Raid Mode for a co-op killing-spree with friends over the Internet. Raid mode is good too, but only online coop. 2 looks better graphically (but runs at 30) and has 2 player coop in campaign and raid. The campaign is creepier, but more linear, not as strong as one. However the mechanics are better in 2, and Raid mode is evolved so much from the first. They pull levels from resident evil 6, 5 revelations 2 and. can't remember, but they have a lot more "raids" and added to that is characters, skills, weapons etc. It still has that RPG style of damage and weapon gathering, but if you liked rev 1, it's basically a better version. Also, online co-op From what I am seeing, generally, Revelations had a better setting and atmosphere, while 2 had a better story. 1 is closer to the style of RE4, while 2 is polished a bit more but has a different gameplay style. Like, actual Campaign coop and not only Raid? As of this week this became a reality and now we can enjoy Revelations 2 with an online friend. Taking a look at an old online co-op mode that RE Revelations 2 has to offer, and it's still one of the funnest! Not to mention it being F2P!For all things R Resident Evil Revelations 2 consists of four main episodes, plus two 'bonus' missions, and finally it is complete.
