New Game+ features have ALWAYS been like that, why do people always seem to assume Dead Space is the first time this has happened? If you could carry over your upgraded equipment from the start it would completely kill the point of playing on a harder setting. In short, there is New Game Plus in the Dead Space Remake to look forward to. Essentially, after completing the game, players can return for additional playthroughs with the New Game Plus option. Just finished the game, went to start up a new game plus, but after a loading screen I just appear as Isaac, standing on a white square, with everything else being complete darkness. After a couple seconds everything turns blindingly white and stays like So I've seen people say that you can unlock Impossible from beating the game on hard and if that's the case does it mean you can play it on NG+ or is it only on a NG save. Impossible mode is unlocked by default in the remake. Right after installing Dead Space, impossible mode will already be unlocked. Thats what I though but you cant seem to Keep in mind that the game will also have a New Game Plus mode, so if you go through it twice, there's a whole lot of game time to set aside.
